Abstract
- This conference paper suggests that temporal diversity is not an object of research. In contrast to biodiversity, 'chronodiversity' is terra incognita. The current threat to temporal diversity can be explained in part by the fact that it is being ignored by scholars. There is, for example, no comprehensive history of the phenomena of the pause, of waiting, repetition or hesitation. There are no systematic, historical or empirical studies of the productivity of these forms of time. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
