Abstract
- The article discusses interventional methods for chronic pain management. It says that these techniques, such as spinal cord stimulators (SCS), help in avoiding side effects in patients. It adds that lumbar facet and cervical pain are often treated with neurolytic nerve blocks or radio-frequency ablation (RFA). It mentions other interventional techniques including intrathecal drug delivery systems, epidural steroid injections, and regional nerve blocks.
