EU, US and Japan join forces against China in rare earth WTO battle.

Abstract
- The article reports on the collaboration between the European Union (EU), the U.S. and Japan to bring a case against China at the World Trade Organization (WTO) over rare earths exports. According to EU Trade Commissioner Karel De Gucht, international trade rules were violated by China's restrictions on rare earths and other products. China took quota levels to 30,258 tonnes in 2010.
