Abstract

The article presents a study which aims at evaluating the potential of kinematic magnetic resonance imaging (KMRI). It explains the methodology of this pilot study in which a superconducting, high-field open-magnet magnetic resonance (MR) system is used to perform KMRI on the knee and lumbar spine of healthy volunteers. It concludes the effectiveness of KMRI in kinematic diagnosis of sports injuries.
