Abstract: The article presents a study which provides detailed explanations on the checklist items in the Reporting Recommendations for Tumor Marker Prognostic Studies (REMARK). It is inferred that the recommendations were developed by the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer and the National Cancer Institute. An overview on the proper method of reporting prognostic marker research is provided.
