Abstract

The article presents information about a study done at Iran's Islamic Azad University which looks at research papers done in the Library and Information Science department from 1997 to 2007 regarding critical thinking, gender, and education. It focuses on critical thinking skills which have a positive impact on improving the writing process, most notably in student compositions.
