Abstract

The article focuses on the occupational exposure of pregnant women to industrial chemicals that lead to the developmental risks of neurotoxicity in prenatal as their immature brain are highly vulnerable to it. It states that various epidemiological studies carried out for studying the neurodevelopment of progeny of female workers are mostly focused on pesticides and organic solvents chemicals. It states that the number of cohort studies for occupational exposure is very low.
