Abstract

The article offers information on launch of alternative fuel vehicles in National Parks in U.S. It states that the U.S. National Park Service would team up with U.S. Department of Energy to make National Park /System fuel efficient, and about to launch alternative fuel vehicles to the parks. It mentions that five national parks around the country partnering with two agencies, would deploy fuel efficient and alternative fuel vehicles as part of an expanded partnership, to protect the natural environments. Shenandoah National Park would partner with Virginia Clean Cities agency to deploy all electric vehicle. San Antonio Missions National Historic Park plans to partner with Alamo Area Clean Cities to deploy propane powered truck and electric utility truck.
