Abstract

The article discusses a court case wherein the plaintiff's son committed suicide after his release from judicial custody. It states that the plaintiff brought suit in federal court for damages, claiming a violation of Due Process in that the named defendants failed to provide a medical evaluation and, thus, prevent his death. The court declared that the defendants did nothing to create or heighten the danger of suicide.
