Abstract

The article presents a study of the environmental impact of global birth rate on future biodiverse wilderness and on the proportion of the surface area without extinction. It explores human population growth, agricultural efficiency, and groundwater drawdown by irrigation. Results show that the surface area of biodiverse unmanaged land will drop by around 6.4% from 2012 to 2050.
