Abstract
- The article presents a study which focuses on the development of an algorithm for the representation of large spectral variations of albedo over vegetation surfaces based on Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MODIS) observations. The traditional approaches for estimating the MODIS enhanced vegetation albedo (MEVA) are outlined. It also emphasizes the significance of MEVA in understanding climate processes and climate change.
