Soft SUSY breaking masses and μ parameter from dynamical rearrangement of exotic U(1) symmetrys.

Abstract

We propose amechanism that the soft supersymmetry breakingmasses and μ parameter can be induced from the dynamical rearrangement of local U(1) symmetries in a five-dimensional model. We study two type models with the standard model gauge symmetry and some extraU(1) symmetries under our mechanism. In particular, we pay attention to μ parameter where based on the dynamical rearrangement of U(1) and the boundary conditions of fields. It offers to a solution of μ problem if there is a large hierarchy among the relevant U(1) charge of Higgsinos and that of hidden fields which stabilize the extradimensional component of U(1) gauge boson, or if the Scherk-Schwarz phases of the visible fields are different from that of the hidden fields.
