Lockheed Martin Successful In Controlled EAPS Test Flight.

The article reports that Lockheed Martin (LMT) successfully conducted a Controlled Test Vehicle flight test at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico on May 26, 2012. LMT's Extended Area Protection and Survivability (EAPS) is a hit-to-kill interceptor which will be supplied to Aviation Missile Research Development & Engineering Center (AMRDEC) Average Unit Production Cost. The test was performed in collaboration with the U.S. Army Research Development & Engineering Command (RDECOM).
