On Crestal/Marginal Bone Loss Around Dental Implants.

The article gives information about an international study group's meeting to review research literature on peri-implant gingivitis and marginal bone loss around dental implants, the maintenance of osseointegration in denture patients, and the progressive deterioration of the mouth's hard and soft tissue in the mouth. It is noted that the symposium was funded by five implant manufacturers.
