Abstract: The article describes the profile of Pakistani return migrants. Data shows the socio-demographic characteristics and household assets of return migrants. It details the recruitment mechanisms in Pakistan, including the sources of information about overseas employment and recruitment channels, the role of overseas employment promoters (OEP) in worker recruitment and deployment, and signing of contracts before migration.
