Abstract
- The article discusses politics and government policy across Europe, particularly noting the effects of the Eurozone financial crisis since 2008 on the region's politics. It addresses the election of Socialist French president François Hollande in 2012, the status of Germany as a financial leader of Europe and its relationship to Greece's economy, and the economic policy of Great Britain's coalition government.
