Abstract
- The article focuses on the proposed race anti-discrimination bill in Hong Kong, China which excludes mainland Chinese immigrants from protection. It states that the Hong Kong government addressed the calls for a Race Discrimination Bill to be introduced into the legislature in view of its passage. It says that the administration argues in consultation paper that mainland Chinese immigrants have the same ethnicity with most of the Han Chinese population.
