Abstract

The article examines how the 2012 summer Olympic games in London, England, impacted museums in the city. Particular focus is given to how the games caused museums to lose revenue from more than a million visitors. Several museums within the city are profiled including the Royal Museum Greenwich, the Imperial War Museum and the National History Museum.
