Abstract

The article compares the financial crises between Greece and the U.S. It says that the debt increase in Greece has exceed for 16 consecutive years while in the U.S. its national debt has increased by 60%. It suggests that the economic crisis in Greece is considered more severe than the U.S. based on the explicit debts and unfunded liabilities. It adds that the financial situation in America is more devastating based on the addition of derivatives.
