Abstract

The author discusses the impact of Persian Gulf War on the health of U.S. armed forces during the war period. He tackles data on hospitalization, childbirth and birth defects at military hospitals in the country. The mortality risk of deployed personnel is investigated. He also notes the complaints of active duty personnel regarding Gulf War-related illness.
