Abstract

The article offers the author's insights on the study by Message Systems, which reveals that 63% of marketers say email is the engagement channel that they realize with higher return on investment (ROI). She says that email is a marketing workhorse, wherein it can stand on its own, providing information, statements, and serve as the core of a multichannel campaign. She adds that some marketers are shifting more of their marketing budget to social and mobile, and the majority rely on email.
