Abstract
- The IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) has two major goals as prescribed in its Constitution: scientific and educational activities and the professional activities. To achieve these goals, ComSoc is structured in five major areas: Conferences, Publications, Standards, Technical Activities, and Member Relations. Each of these areas is under the leadership of a Vice President. Member Relations promotes ComSoc membership and services to members around the world, as well as the relationship of ComSoc with other professional societies. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
