Abstract: The article offers information on the retrieval algorithm for bromine radicals (BrO) from Scanning Imaging Absorption Spectometer for Atmospheric Chartography (SCIAMACHY) limb near-ultraviolet (UV) measurements data. It says that the retrieval algorithms show agreement with the independent observation of balloon within one standard deviation regarding retrieval noise. It states that the data shows stratospheric loading.
