Abstract

The relative priority of creditors in the administration of the estate of a person who died domiciled in the Caribbean is governed by rules that are substantially taken from outmoded common law and old English statutes. This paper examines those rules and offers a critique of their content, before using goals of efficiency and social policy to propose a structure for law reform. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
