Abstract

The article presents a case study on the energy agement conducted by the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario which manages three indoor aquatic facilities. It says that the city council chose the Volunteer Pool as a test facility for a liquid pool cover project. It mentions that an energy audit suggests the use of a pool cover as a significant energy saving strategy. Moreover, the project resulted to the facility's decrease consumption of natural gas.
