Abstract
- The article discusses the ways on how retailers and shopping center owners could bring their facilities reduce the risk of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) lawsuits. It says that the Senate Bill (SB) is an ADA-reform law, which aims to reduce disability access suits. It mentions the key provisions of SB 1186 which include requiring a lawyer to provide a written advisory with demand letter, prohibiting a demand letter from a demand for money, and relief for businesses.
