Abstract

The article discusses a study which aims to redescribe Heligmosomoides neopolygyrus from Sichuan Province in central China in Apodemus peninsulae. In June 2004, rodent hosts were collated as part of a French-British-Chinese program. To determine the sex and reproductive status, they were weighed and analyzed in the field. It was noted that the small intestine was preserved in 5-percent formalin and delivered to the Museum national d'Histoire naturelle located in Paris, France a month after collection.
