Abstract: The article discusses a study conducted to update ECOCLIMAP-I in Europe. It is evident that ECOCLIMAP-I is a database designed to cater needs of meteorological community to examine natural and managed ecosystems in association with weather forecasting and climate change modelling. It discusses methods, datasets and characteristics of producing ECOCLIMAPII/Europe.
