Abstract
- A new solution for evaluating the symbol error probability (SEP) of MPSK with arbitrary values of M is derived. Evaluation of the SEP for all values of M other than 2 and 4 currently requires numerical integration. It is shown that the SEP can be expressed in terms of the Gaussian Q-function and the bivariate Gaussian distribution for any value of M. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
