Abstract
- The article features Finnish contemporary composer Kalevi Aho. Aho's music can allegedly be riotously colorful and is not averse to exploring the outer limits of what instruments can do. By far, Aho has composed 15 symphonies and 20 concertos. His four operas are reportedly still awaiting CD or DVD champions. Aho can allegedly turn pastiche into either hypnotic fascination or dystopian outrage.
