Abstract

The article discusses the steps of soil analysis to evaluate soil conditions and to check soil nutrients requirements. It mentions the steps which include soil sampling which can help in improving the nutrients, fertiliser planning and measuring the pH of the soil. It mentions that pH of the soil can be measured by analysing potassium, phosphorus and nitrogen content of the soil and also presents several tables which list the optimum soil pH, phosphorus and nitrogen content.
