Abstract

The article offers suggestions on how to improve lessee-lessor relationship in farming business in the U.S. It states that farmers should know the landowner's investment goals and they should communicate with them for determining their long-term goals. It further states that farmers should take care of the farmland in order to prevent lease cancellation and it also informs that a farm in the U.S. uses mob grazing, a rotational grazing technique established in South Africa. INSETS: Watch for red flags in leases;Good grazing builds up land.
