Abstract
- MiR398 responses to Pi starvation in Arabidopsis thaliana. We predicted GmSODC , the target gene of miR398a, encoded a copper/zinc superoxide dismutase using a biological information model. The gene was then inserted into the multiple cloning sites of the binary vector pJG045 with Ligation - Independent cloning. Through Agrobacterium - mediated soybean cotyledonary node transformation system, we obtained T<subscript>1</subscript> transgenic plants, confirmed by PCR. Real - time PCR was employed to investigate the transcriptional level of GmSODC gene in T<subscript>1</subscript> transgenic plants. One of the transgenic plants exhibited a much higher expression level than that of Dongnong 50. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
