Abstract

The article discusses the history of the era of coups d'etat in Russia, during the period from 1725 to 1917, with a focus on Russian political philosophy and political history. Topics include the concept and movement of legal Marxism, developed in the period between 1894 and 1901, the concept of the classical coup d'etat, with reference to the concept of the conspiracy of 1st century BCE Roman politician Lucius Sergius Catilina; and the history of the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia in the 20th century.
