Abstract

The article presents the case of 43-year-old and 46-year-old sisters diagnosed with multiple endocrine neoplasia type-2A (MEN2A). The sisters experienced increased levels of urinary metanephrines and calcitonin. The article discusses how fluorine-18-dihydroxyphenylalanine(<superscript>18</superscript>F-DOPA) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) can detect various synchronous neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).
