Abstract
- In this article, tracking differentiator-based nonlinear control method is proposed for wind generation system to follow the power regulation request from the centralized wind farm controller. To avoid the jump of the power set point for wind generation system specified by the centralized wind farm controller, the transient profile is generated through the tracking differentiator. Then, an optimal control method is proposed to regulate the output power of wind generation system. Particularly, the stable nonlinear controller based on dynamic surface control is designed for the rotational speed regulation. Simulation cases are studied to demonstrate the performance of the proposed control method and the efficiency of the tracking differentiator for power control of the wind generation system in the wind farm.
