Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new IDPMS (In-Domain Protection and Management Scheme) to solve the multi-user problem and rights leak in the Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems. The content is divided to content objects to be delivered to the client devices without the need of being kept by the device. The proposed IDPMS defined a new DRM vector to replace the initial vector of the encrypt/decrypt cipher to enhance the security. Additionally, the new IDPMS helps disable the rights leak from content sharing with devices of the domain. The implementation of IDPMS is based on the OMA[1] DRM system and the major modification is on the content issuer. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
