Abstract

The article offers information on the educational scenario in South Australia. It states that the South Australian Secondary Principals' Association (SASPA) has been contracted by our education department to undertake a project relating to adolescent numeracy. It mentions that while mathematics teachers play an important role in students' development of numeracy, the explicit teaching of numeracy requirements is the responsibility of all teachers.
