Abstract
- The article offers information on Texas, New Mexico and Arizona, south western states of the U.S. which have extreme summer heat and bitingly cold winters, though crops and livestock are varied. Native Americans settled early in all three states. Texas, is vast, larger in square miles than the other two states combined. Dallas-Fort Worth in Texas is one of the country's busiest airports. Arizona has desert and semi-desert terrain while New Mexico is home of ancient Pueblo Indian cultures.
