Abstract
- The article discusses the research by Sylvan Elhay and Angus R. Simpson regarding the use of regularization technique to address the computation failure when solving the governing equations of a hydraulic network in consideration to global gradient algorithm. It mentions that the technique is incapable if the Jacobian matrix of J in the equation of the research is singular. It includes several equations used in the research such as one for diagonal elements of matrix F.
