Abstract: A report from the European Environment Agency (EEA) on the progress in integrating environmental considerations into the energy sector in Europe is presented. It discusses how the study was conducted which is based on a set of 24 indicators on environment and energy between 1990 and 2003. The results reportedly revealed that environmental pressures from the energy industry were reduced, however the trend has slowed since 2003. Graphical representations of related data are also presented.
