Abstract

The article discusses a study which examined the WIDA English language Proficiency Standards against the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for Mathematics and English Language Arts for English language learners (ELLs). The study organized the CCSS for Mathematics by grade, content domain and standards. Results showed a familiarity effect of target standards on reviewer reliability of their Depth of Knowledge (DOK) levels.
