Abstract

The author discusses the technique of papier-mache, which was used to make homewares in early times. Since the invention of paper in China, its recycling had also started. Under papier-mache, first the paper was wetted, and then it was dried till it became solid. After this process it was shaped in some craft. The article also includes an answer to a question related to antique dolls.
