CEFC 2012 Chairman's foreword.

The Fifteenth Biennial IEEE Conference on Electromagnetic Field Computation (CEFC 2012) was held in Oita, Japan, on November 11-14, 2012. The statistics for CEFC 2012 are as follows: the registered attendance was 347 participants and 28 countries were represented at the Conference. There was an appreciable number of participants attending from Korea, China, France and Brazil, with a broad spectrum of people from all over the world. Of the 617 abstracts submitted, 496 were presented. There were three invited lectures and one keynote speech, with 133 oral presentations and the remainder of digests (363) presented as posters.
