Abstract
- The article discusses the court case Michael McAdoo vs. University of North Carolina (UNC) which deals on plagiarism. McAdoo obtains his former tutor's help regarding the footnotes in a paper for a Swahili class in July 2009. The UNC has sanctioned McAdoo to be prohibited on playing the football season for 2010 and 2011 as a punishment for his violation in school rules. The trial court's decision is in favor of UNC.
