Abstract

The article discusses the coming U.S. senatorial race between Massachusetts entrepreneur, Ray Shamie and John Kerry. It has been observed that Shamie is a traditionalist conservative businessman faithful to President Ronald Reagan's approach to international and domestic matters and Kerry is a liberal who has vowed to fight against everything Reagan stands for. Kerry tried to run for the U.S. Congress in 1970.
