A Bioorthogonal Raman Reporter Strategy for SERS Detection of Glycans on Live Cells.

Direct detection of glycans on live cells using surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) has been shown. A bioorthogonal Raman reporter was directly installed onto the monosaccharide analogs.
