Abstract: The article discusses the locations where the mineral tourmaline can be found. According to the author, although many localities in the U.S. have produced very large tourmaline crystals with most approaching or meeting the crystal definition of one dimension being at least 1 meter are schorl. The author adds that Brazil has produced some exceptionally large schorl crystals.
