Abstract
- The article discusses factors to the success of International Shoe Co., the largest shoe company in the world. International Shoe was founded by its chairman, Jackson Johnson. Johnson believes that permanent business growth can only be achieved by giving full value to a merchant's particular field. The company has a price policy of setting prices. In 20 years, International Shoe also did not pass a dividend.
