Morphological features of the ovaries during oogenesis of the Oriental fruit fly, Bactrocera dorsalis, in relation to the physiological state.

The article focuses on a study which described the morphological features of the ovaries during previtellogenesis through vitellogenesis and ovulation of the Oriental fruit fly Bactrocera dorsalis. The morphological features were assessed as markers of the physiological states of the oriental fruit fly.
